Max Lucado’s Pocket Prayers {A LitFuse Publicity Group Review}

Pocket Prayers

Today I wanted to take just a little time to introduce you to some books that I’m going to write about a little more in-depth over the next few weeks.  I just wanted to let you know that they’re out there as you buy Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Graduation and end of the school year gifts for your loved ones.

Bestselling author Max Lucado has teamed up with six authors to write the Pocket Prayers series for those in need of peace, renewal, rest, faith, hope, joy, direction, serenity, and courage.

Short, simple prayers are very effective, which is why each book in the series contains forty guided prayers and complementary scriptures for any situation, including for:

Moms (written with daughter Andrea Lucado)
-Grads (written with daughter Andrea Lucado)
Dads (written with Mark Mynheir)
-Military Life (written with Mark Mynheir)
-Teachers (written with blogger Jennifer Hale)
Friends (written with Betsy St. Amant)

These are each lovely little square hardcover books that are about 6″ x 6″ in size.  Each contains a short introduction, and then a prayer with associated scripture.  As someone who can relate to Max’s confession in the introduction to these books as a former prayer wimp.  Sometimes my mind drifts, I try to check social media, or I begin making lists and thoughts of other things as I pray, so having a daily scripture and prayer focus is a wonderful idea for me for each day.  There are several people in my life who I would like to give that gift to, so I’ll be sharing a little more about each individual book and why I’ve chosen that person in my subsequent posts on these books 🙂

There’a also an awesome giveaway that I want to make you aware of to go along with the release of these books.  Two people could win their own copies of all six of these books.  Just follow this link to enter today!

Disclaimer:  I received a complimentary copy of these books from LitFuse Publicity Group in exchange for an honest review.
