Homeschool Resources and Spending Report (November 2015)

This month is a relatively short month for homeschooling, and we’ve been a little low on funds, so I’m hoping that the homeschool budget stays in close check.

We continued working on our ginger unit study this month.  As a part of that, I bought:

  • 3 types of ginger ale for the children to “taste test” = $5.00

Firecracker also decided that he wanted to learn more about the story of John Henry from some Disney short films that we’d been watching.  So, I bought a picture book on Kindle ($1.50) and a movie from Amazon Instant Video ($4.99)

Firecracker also decided that he wanted to learn more about Psalm 23, and even though I had bought a lapbook two or three years ago from Currclick, I decided to go on Amazon and buy a couple of books about the the Psalm to read as we worked on the lapbook.  Total spent = $12.60

So, this month I spent $24.09 on our homeschool.
